The very reason we exist is to tell you about God’s love and His free Gift of Grace. He has a plan for your life!
1) God loves you.
God loves you with an everlasting love, so boundless that it can only be known by faith. Jesus was made sin (what God hates) so that you might become that which God loves, (righteousness). You can exchange your sin for his righteousness. Could you ask for greater evidence of love? (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:4-5)
2) You are a sinner.
We have all sinned against God. Sin causes us to fear God and try to live our lives outside of His will. Sin is choosing to go your own way and do your own thing as opposed to being obedient to God. (Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:10; Romans 5:12)
3) You can’t save yourself
People often think that through their efforts they can overcome the sin barrier between themselves and God. That isn't true. There's nothing you can do to restore the broken relationship with God. You can't earn God's salvation. Many spend their lives trying to earn God's approval by following rules, attending religious services, or being a good person; the truth is that the only way to a fulfilling life and an eternal future in heaven is through a relationship with Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 4:4-5)
4) God sent His son Jesus to remove the sin barrier.
Jesus paid the entire price for all of our sins, past present and future. No man can build a way to get to God through works or some other god-image. God Himself made, The Way! What you cannot do for yourself, Jesus Christ has done for you! He is the bridge that crosses the sin barrier between you and God. The Good News is that when Jesus died on the cross for you and rose from the dead, He demonstrated that His payment was acceptable to God! By taking your punishment on Himself, Jesus made a way for relationship with God! (1 Peter 2:23; Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 10:9)
5) You can receive Jesus Christ through faith.
Faith is placing your trust in what Jesus has done for you rather than trusting your own efforts to restore fellowship with God. Faith also involves repentance or genuine sorrow for sin and willingness to turn away from sin. There is no other Name under heaven that has been given to men, by which we can be saved. (John 14:6; Acts 16:31; Acts 4:12: Romans 10:9-10)
God has already done His part to restore our relationship to Him. Now He waits for each of us to individually accept what He has done for us.
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name [Jesus] under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” 1Thess. 4:14
“For it is by grace you are saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.” Eph. 2:8-9
Would you like to receive salvation, know that your sins are forgiven and become adopted into the family of God?
The Bible says to confess with your mouth and believe in your heart as you pray a prayer like this one:
Thank you for creating me and for loving me even when I’ve ignored you and gone my own way. I realize I need you in my life. I admit that I am a sinner. (Express sorrow or repentance for your sins). I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you are the Son of God, and you took my place on the cross. You carried my sin and shame and You died for me.
I believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead. He’s alive forever. He wants me to know the new life that He gives. I now gladly accept you by faith as my Lord and Savior and commit my life to You. All of my past sins are washed away, because of the blood of Jesus. Thank you for eternal salvation. Thank you for New Life! Jesus I worship You! Heaven is now my home! I am saved! Amen! (Thank Him)
